Frequently asked questions
Who can apply for accommodation at Zeboleke Properties?
Any student that is registered with an institution of higher learning, including but not limited to, universities, institutes of technology, public or private colleges etc.
Is your accommodation accredited?
Majority of our properties are accredited whilst only one isn’t. Please refer to each residence for confirmation of accreditation.
How to apply for accommodation?
Its very easy! Simply click on the “apply now” button and complete the ZPS residence online application.
You will need to upload the supporting documents to complete the online application.
Can someone else pay my rent (i.e., parents or legal guardian)?
Yes, absolutely! In that case, we will also need some information of the person responsible for your account. See application form for more details. For NSFAS/Bursary funded students, we will require confirmation of funding.
Is it quiet, will I be able to study?
We endeavour to ensure that our residences are student-friendly and conducive to studying, and this requires input from students as well. It is therefore imperative that students adhere to the house rules and respect fellow house mates.
Are your residences safe?
All our student residences have security measures in place for the safety of our students, for example, all rooms are lockable, all properties are fenced, have burglar bars installed, fire extinguishers installed, access is controlled by tags/locks/passwords, there are security cameras, an alarm system is installed which is linked to armed security response.
Security is, however, also dependent on students playing their part, so we urge our students to always practice safety behaviours in and around the residences.
Do your residences cost offer value for money?
Absolutely! Some of our standard value-for-money offer include free unlimited WiFi and our monthly rental fee includes utilities, fridges & other essential appliances, and many more. Check out the amenities above for more details.
Do you provide meals for students?
No, all our residences are “self-catering” setup. The basic appliances are provided (i.e. stoves, microwaves, fridges etc)
What to bring when I move in?
We provide some appliances and furniture. Please refer to the detailed residence description. The list below is not exhaustive, but you will need:
– Bed linen, blankes/duvet, towels, iron & ironing board
– Cooking utensils, crockery & cutlery etc
– Food/grocery
